This week we've been busy making this elegantly tall wedding cake for a gorgeous and extravagant wedding at the beautiful Parsonage.
We see a lot of venues at Rosewood Cakes, one of the best things about our job is getting to have little peek at so many beautiful places! The Parsonage is a stunning estate, with mature gardens and perfect for a summer wedding, I do hope we get to work here again.
Robyn had contacted me two years ago for her dream cake, she wanted an extremely tall cake, and with our wedding cakes coming in at least 6" in height for every tier, she was certainly going to get an outstanding cake!
Topped with sugar moth orchids, the wedding cake had different shades of blush in matt and shimmer icing, along with a tier of ruffles, and a petal shaped bottom tier.
This cake took many hours of work, and almost as long to assemble! I can hardly breathe when constructing tall cakes like this!
The flavours were passion fruit and white chocolate, one of our most popular sponges! Sticky toffee, fudge buttercream and salted caramel, lemon drizzle, strawberry and champagne and our staple vanilla and raspberry!
We wish the happy couple all the very best for married life!
